- Changing the shape or size of the teeth
- Evening out uneven edges of teeth
- Enhancing the smile-line to improve aesthetics and symmetry
- Covering imperfections
- Masking ridges and smoothing off the teeth
- Repairing minor chips or fractures
Prices start from £200 per tooth
Crowns and Bridges
Restore broken, chipped or missing teeth
Crowns and bridges are both forms of restorative dentistry that treat very different things. Dental crowns are natural-looking teeth covers that help to protect and restore damaged teeth, blending them back into your smile. They are suitable for broken, chipped, stained, and discoloured teeth. Not only do they look like natural teeth, but they also protect the natural tooth beneath them from further harm.
Dental bridges, on the other hand, are used for if you have a missing tooth but healthy teeth on either side of the gap. A replacement tooth is placed in the gap and secured with dental crowns to the adjacent teeth.
It may also be possible to replace old and worn crowns. You may even want metal crowns to be replaced with tooth-coloured crowns. All options can be discussed during your consultation.
- Effective teeth replacement
- Blend missing or unsightly teeth into your smile
- Sturdy and natural-looking
- Long-lasting and hard-wearing solutions
- Protects your teeth
Some tooth preparation will be required for both your crown or your dental bridge. A layer of enamel has to be removed before fitting a crown, and so this removal of tooth surface has to be weighed up with the benefits of having the crown. This will be discussed during your consultation.
